RC Andersen, LLC is a General Contractor based in Fairfield N.J. and is currently operating in six states throughout the Northeast as well as in Colorado. Since the inception of the company in 2006, we have stayed dedicated solely to the industrial market. That has proven to be a fortunate strategy as evidenced by the continued demand for industrial and E-commerce facilities. Founding the company under this premise was a simple formula in that we believed in the market sector and truly enjoyed working with the industrial owners and developers in New Jersey. Today, our clients are regional and national industrial developers, specializing in supply chain, E-commerce and logistics solutions. As a result, we have grown to 65 employees and have ranked as high as 4th nationally in annual volume of industrial projects.
Establishing our roots in one of the toughest markets in the U.S., just by the nature of the available sites in N.J., has proven advantageous. The strong demand for industrial sites has led developers to infill markets and sites with environmental, geotechnical or storm water management challenges. Our extensive experience on such sites as well as our large building experience has allowed our team to become industrial specialists. As a result, we benefit from having a reputation as a go to resource with an experienced team of project managers, superintendents, and an extensive subcontractor base. We completed $2 billion of work in place, over 35 million sf of space and have another 20 million sf of work in progress. Most of our work is for repeat clients, but we continue to grow that client base year over year. In this unprecedented Covid 19 period, most of our projects have been deemed essential and we have been successful at creating a safe environment for construction personnel to continue their employment and work safely. We are extremely proud that, five months into the pandemic, we have had zero retransmissions on our job sites despite having worked over 120,000 man-days. We have a great group of employees that have enjoyed a long successful cycle with us since our start in 2006. We take pride in the product and employment that we have provided in each community and make it a priority to give back support to those in need. This includes donating time and funding to organizations such as NAIOP, Rutgers University, Daytop New Jersey, Chilton Hospital, Boys and Girls Clubs, Preakness Reformed Church, RISE, Crohns and Colitis Foundation, Make a Wish NJ, and FLAG of Greater Wayne to name a few. We thank NAIOP New Jersey for naming us as a recipient of this year’s Impact Award and are truly honored to receive this recognition.
